Remote
controlled "passive preamp" kit
with 5 inputs
This kit is a remote controlled "passive
preamp", which is just a fancy name
for an input selector and volume control.
This one has five line inputs and
one tape input with tape monitor function.
There is also a mute function and outputs
for two extra relays - one power relay (perhaps
for swicthing the poweramp on/off), and
a spare relay output with no fixed function.
All features (except the spare relay) can
be controlled from both the front panel
and the remote control.
The kit does not include the motorized pot
- the board is designed for Alps RK27 pots.
You will also need a power supply for the
preamp (6-12V AC or 7.5-15V DC 500mA).

Remote
control receiver kit
This kit is a small, simple board meant
for use in DIY projects, or for upgrading
equipment. It can control a motorized volume
pot and two relays - one for mute and the
other for power. The mute relay output can
also be used for B+ delay in tube amps.
The board needs an AC or DC supply
in the 6-12 or 7.5-15V range, and it can
run both with or without a standby supply.
If you need a power supply, or a suitable
remote, you can find both on the "Accessories"
pages. |

| Remote
controlled pre amp kit
This kit is a remote controlled line-level
preamp. It has three inputs and a mute function.
The gain stage uses high quality op. amps.
The default type is the Burr Brown OPA604
(others on request). The gain is set by
two resistors (per channel), and the default
gain is 10dB. The preamp board is made for
installation in a small aluminium box as
shown, but it can also be used for other
purposes if you connect controls or phono
sockets using wires.
The preamp runs on 12V DC (+/-10%). An
unregulated 9V supply works fine.
The kit does not include a motorized pot.
The board can be used with both Alps RK18
and RK27 pots. |
